On 30th May 2016, Richard Pasco and Andy Williams will be attempting a feat that has only been achieved by a handful of others – cycling the height of Mount Everest in a day.
Starting at 5am, they will be cycling up and down Pashley Road, Eastbourne until 9pm (or later!) to ascend 8,848m (or 29,029ft) – all in aid of Esuubi, a charity which works with some of Uganda’s neediest children.
Throughout the day there will be a series of activities taking place in the garden of 81 Pashley Road so people can show Andy and Richard their support:
- 10am – 12noon: Wheely Fun Morning (Family games and activities)
- 2:30pm – 4:30pm: Garden Party
- 7pm – 9pm: BBQ
Richard and Andy are aiming to raise £8,848 – one pound for every metre they climb throughout the day. So please show your support at esuubi.org.uk/everest4esuubi.
